Default Chip choices for 06 tC?

Ive looked and researched trying to find some info and choices for "super"chips for the tC. the only thing ive found is the Unichip and still dont know much about it.
So i figured id ask the people who would know best. what im looking for are chip options, brands, info, etc for an internally stock 06. hope you guys can help me out.

if you arent boosted it isnt needed. you will recieve minimal gains at great expense.

if you are boosted i'd look at Dezod and Ptunings websites and look at the piggy backs and stand alones.

^^ what he said

there is no magic "chip" to plug in and get gobs of power. you can get a unichip which i think can come preloaded with a tune but you would probably have to get it retuned and unichip tuners are not extremely common.

basically you would be spending $500-$1000 for maybe 10 hp if you are not turbo or supercharged.

keep your car stock. if you really want something faster get a different car.

^^ Exactly what they said, if you arent boosted, no need for it. Youll just waste alot of money for most likely less than 10hp. However I beg to differ with the second response, done right the tc can be a pretty quick car, and the 2AZ really is a nice platform - imho just as good as any other fwd platform.

i think the main thing is that people think these cars can be chipped like the factory honda ecu's. there is no way to crack the ecu in these cars. the kid that i got my fic from said that he knows someone that was in fact able to crack the ecu but i have no idea how truthful that statement is. if it was that easy, there would be more people doing it and we wouldnt need to rely on piggybacks and standalones.
