Default Clocking Turbo

ok so i am installing my kit (zpi stage 1) and i realize that my turbo has to be clocked so i clock the coldside housing so its facing up but now i am stuck because the middle housing has to be clocked so that the oil return line is facing down. I know it uses the retainer clamp inside but what retainer plier is nessesarry to be able to get the center housing to move? and where can i get one locally? please help asap thanks

ahhh the dreadful clocking of the 16g!!! this is the part that made me wish i got a t3 that clocks faster than a cheetah on meth!
lol u need snap ring pliers dont get crappy ones from a autostore i got 2 sets of those and broke them with in minutes lol go to sears and buy craftsman snap ring pliers they r like 12 bucks and will not break at your first attempt. also a word of advice try your best not to snap the ring off the actual compressor u need a spare set of hands to help u rotate the compressor as u hold the snap ring closed..if by chance the ring does snap off prepare of a whole lot of cursing and swearing.

oohhh another tip that worked wonders was take the clip that holds the hotside to the CHRA it just has a small 10mm bolt then u can disconnect the entire CHRA. this will allow u to take the turbo and turn it..yes your oil outlet will face the wrong way but its just to give u a clue to where u neeed to clock the turbo because u do not want to have to do it more than once make sure u mark it with a sharpie and then go at it with the snap ring pliers...this worked for me since i was initialy set up for a stage 0 and didnt want o have to take the dp off and the exhaust manifold.

Lol the turbo gets supa hot! It could be the ring seized up on it. Try hitting the c clip with a flat head screw driver see it it budges. Some dw40 might help to.
I told u it sucks chunks! My friend had some reallly long needle nose pliers those help get leverage but the nose broke off after a couple of tries lol.
