Default Clutch Issue UPDATE PG 3. HELP!

Ok well once again my car has a fail clutch issue... back when i traded my twin disc for a comp stage 4 clutch + cash after my motor blew the clutch rattles pretty hard whenever pushed in.... had it about 4k miles right now. My 2nd gear went out last week, under any part throttle 2nd pops out no matter what even if you hold it. Tonight im getting to a car meet, reversing into a spot... clutch pedal gets stuck to the floor and wont come out of reverse, car starts slowly stalling out. Turn car off put it in neutral, pull clutch pedal out and then start pumping it and it feels normal again.. turn car on, doesnt go into any gear... my friend looked under the hood at the fork, when i pressed clutch in and held he said the fork went out but slowly went back like it wasnt holding so he thinks its the slave/master cylinder leak or seal or something. My other friend whos a mechanic drove the car to my house without using clutch we tried that same test and the fork held its spot.. sometimes i can still hear the clutch chatter when its pushed down and other times i do not.. is this a leak in the seals or is this a bad TOB?

If you have a Comp clutch I would bet one of the issues you are having is the shock springs is broken or came out of the clutch disk. It sounds like you may also have a bad TOB but the only way to be certain is to removed you transmission and inspect it.

Recently my clutch pedal would sink to the floor. If I engaged it quickly and released quickly, I could sometimes avoid it. But if I slowly depressed it, it would sink all the way to the floor and would not return. Replaced both the Master and Slave cly.....problem solved.

This sounds all to similar to what happened to me when my OEM clutch blew up. it wasnt the tob but the springs. your clutch sounds like its stuck half way between engadged and not.

chad this is a simple problem...

replace the OEM master cylinder with a new one... problem solved...

and yea when u can dump that CC clutch also lol

but your issue is the seals starting to go in the clutch master cylinder... replace it with a new unit and your good go.

Man, id be really worried its one of the dampening springs that's came out of place. Before you start spending money, crawl under the car and look in the small vents on the bottom of the tranny. When mine went I was able to see parts of springs through there.

with the clutch sticking to the floor its definatly a hydrolic issue. because even when my springs went out in the stock one the clutch came back up. so if it's not building hydrolic pressure then i'd say slave or master cylinder. if you want to rule it out you need to physically look at those to parts to look for leaks. check to see if it's spurting fluid when someone presses in the clutch pedal.

no leaks it must be an internal seal if anything.

chad... the slave would leave if it had problems.. the clutch master doesnt have to leak to have that issue. its an internal seal thats letting air get into the line. over time if u use your clutch alot or have had it adjusted alot the seal weats down prematurely...

replace the clutch master cyclinder... / of problem...

i know because i had the exact same issue and no leaks also
