Always check your plugs first.
If you've just installed new plugs, they could still be fairly clean - as Paul mentioned, it depends on how hard you drive.
Always make sure your gap is between 28-32 (it's what I use.. others may offer different numbers). Right now my plugs are at 30 and everything is great.. I run 1 step cooler NGK Iridiums.

You can do the following.. get a multi-meter and check
1.) Cam position sensor - s/b 835-1400 ohm cold or 1060-1645 hot.
2.) Crank position sensor - s/b 985-1600 ohm cold or 1265-1890 hot.
3.) With ignition on, check with meter between pins 1 & 4 of the coil pack for correct voltage.. s/b 9 - 14 V.
