Here are the long awaited DESCENDANT Intake manifold results as promised.
First sheet below is dated and belongs to a local customer that came to WORLD Racing originally looking for the DESCENDANT Turbo Kit...an older gentlemen who wanted more passing power in his Scion but nothing flashy. So...first goes DESCENDANT Turbo Kit @ 8-9psi with TRD exhaust:

After a few months go by (look at the dated dyno chart) customer comes back looking for more power but wants his daily driver to remain stealth. So, we add intake manifold & fuel rail and gave it a shot. Below are he’s next dyno numbers...these pulls are his second dyno attempt with the DESCENDANT Turbo Kit at 8-9psi, the TRD exhaust & now the intake manifold & fuel rail. Plus TRD Clutch & LSD.

Basically after tuning the OEM fuel system to the MAX we gained about 20WHP & 30TQ at the same basic 8-9psi boost level. Granite we spent 4 hours on the dyno but that's the price to pay to play at this level. If you do things half ___'ed you'll get half ___'ed results.

Above are pictures of his engine bay. Also note all dyno numbers above are all thru the OEM air box with TRD drop in filter. :D
BTW...
If those numbers are not enough here are more from a dynojet instead of a DynoPak!
2009 FWD Time Attack Scion tC Racecar with 67mm Turbo @ 18psi...on MoTeC m880 & Methanol w/ DESCENDANT Scion tC Intake Manifold & Exhaust Manifold
@ 18psi

Then Backed up...

All dynos are different as I have stated before & MOST importantly...I’ve never claimed that this Intake manifold would bolt-on & make power without TUNING!
We have nothing to hide & want to continue building the highest quality parts available for everyone’s Scion’s. If people want to criticize that understandable but don’t get butt hurt when I come back with truth.

Now who’s ready to buy?? If you call me today at the shop 310.533.8900 & tell me me you’ve been following this SCIONLIFE thread I’ll give you an EXTRA $150 CASH OFF the price of the Descendant Intake Manifold and you can still have the free S&H!

Yes...xB2.
After spending some time with Sean at Chruchs automotive going thru the past 2 years of dyno runs this customers car is best comparison I have for what is most relevant to the thread.
Either way...xB2 number's & tC1 numbers are the same because both cars are powered by the same 2AZFE.

We've ran several different TB configurations with the DESCENDANT Intake manifold. Everything from a Edlebrock 68mm to a Acufab 90mm...All depends on what your looking for. We mainly go with something to match the ID of the induction pipe.
