Descendant intake manifold
DESCENDANT Intake manifold has been tested & is currently raced on the most powerful 2AZ-FE Scion in the WORLD and it's made here in the USA.
Weapon R is not currently been tested or raced by any professional race team or motor sports facility and is made in China.

i m not ******* were its made. i was just hope on the closer side of 20 hp. now i didnt read the whole post but what were the number on a boosted car. i don't care about n/a. now is this hp reads on stock cars. no intakes. cams. tunes. ect. this is bolted on to a stock. then thats not to bad.
Install ins't to bad especially since it bolts right up without any modifications, just a little time consuming if your working on your back.
As for DYNO numbers our boosted 2AZFE customers can expect a minimum of 15% increase in WHP at low boost an as much as 25% on high boost applications. The CNC velocity stack runners & extra large aluminum plentum are the perfect combo for any forced induction application.
As for our NA customers they can expect anywhere from 18-25 WHP increase with this addition however we are actually getting ready to run several NA compraisons where we believe customer will be able to squezze even more power out of it with their NA 2AZFE's. I'll keep everyone posted as details become available.

there thats what i was looking for.... im sold on it.
on an NA build with a tune im sure u can get 8whp for boosted apps ur prob looking at 16whp those r my guesses for most ppl but more is always better
now if u jus slap it on well idk if that would benifit at all

General rule of thumb would be that the short runner intake manifolds are designed for applications looking to increase high RPM horsepower where as a manifold designed with longer runners is going to increase torque & midrange but probably sacrifices top end power.

i searched but unable to find any thing that talks about how the length affects mid or high end gains.

Yes, we do have comparison numbers (CFM) to compare the OEM piece to our Descendant intake and if I remember correctly our manifold flows 22% more air at static pressure when compared to the OEM plastic manifold. I'll post the comparison once I get back to the office next week.
As for pictures, here is a picture of the CNC Velocity stack runners we use on the Descendant Intake Manifold, I also included a picture of an un-welded piece to show the precision fit.

Well i didnt read every post in here and im not sure if not only gaining power but also the strenght of there manifold!!... Im sure im not the only one but 1 1/2 years ago i was stock motor running 15psi and just cruising on the highway got on it and heard a nasty rattle noise. I was thinking wow finaly did some damage but got back to the shop and came to find out it was my stock manifold that blew up on the inside the runners separated from the plastic. figured no point going stock again and got descendants mani and well it was a difference for sure!!
