You have 2 good choices, and both I think will make you happy.

Basically you need to research a bit, but look at some of these factors:

What are the differences?

Manifold - style.material etc
wastegate - size, brand
turbo - manufacturer, flange, power potential
blow off valve - type, brand

It comes down to what of those items you happen to like better. They all work the same, so keep that in mind.

Basically almost all of the kits the manifold, intercooler and chargepipes are all the same. Some kits require cutting of the crash bar, which in reality isn't that big of a deal. All personal preference there.

What are your power goals? Which kit provides that goal
What about future growth potential? Do you plan on upgrading in the future
Costs factors and what you get in that price?

Don't forget the extras that are not included. Clutch, flywheel, boost guage, air fuel guage etc.

Good luck and if you have any more questions, there are a few of us that will give you an honest answer.

Regards-

Todd
Umm, mind your own. Also, don't you produce a turbo set up as well now? Hmm, interesting your advising him. Just letting him know there is more than those two. Each of which is a good set up.

I got involved in the Scion community to help it evolve. Granted I do offer my own stuff , but that is irrelevant to this post. How many other manufacturers do you see promoting another companies products...zero oh wait one....me

I did not come into this post to try an promote myself but to help the poster with an honest answer to his question. Sorry you had a problem with my unbiased response, but I at least tried to help the guy.

its all good man. Truth be told, your set up looks real good. I was just letting him know in a quick way that there are more than two choices. Anyways, back on topic.

Not from my experience and that of my friends. When I take time out of my day to call somewhere to ask a question, I don't want to simply be told to call back in a month because that is when the product will be ready and that they are busy. I want to be told that they are working on a product and why it isn't ready yet and then tell me about the product and why it is a better product and apologize for not having it ready sooner. Then they would take down my name and number and call me back. That is customer service! If I told my customers, "Sorry, we don't have any tC's and we're pretty busy. So, call back in a month." They wouldn't ever call back. Which is exactly what happened to me. Also, I am happy that he is flying down to tune your car, that is awesome!

Flying down to tune someone's car....IS Kenny. That's not the first time he has done something like that. The VERY, and I mean VERY first time I ever met the guy, he drove 3 hrs from KY with his now wife, to hand deliver a set of Tein Springs to me, buy me and my lady dinner, and then proceed to race me a few times tC for tC (before boost of course).

And they wonder why I favor ZPI so much.....

PS....you could have just signed up on their own Forum for information. They have WAY to many cars in the shop that need to be out and rolling on the streets, so I can believe you when they said to call them back when it's ready.

It sounds like Kenny is an awesome guy. It is just too bad that I didn't get to talk with someone that has bought into his dedication to customer service. Being too busy to deal with a customer should never occur in a customer based position. If they think for one minute that they are busier than any one of their customers or prospective customers, then they are dead wrong.

OK, we are totally jacking this tread. Dezod earned my business, ZPI did not. I'm done.

I don't think this is threadjack, customer service is one of the few things that will separate two very good systems.

Sounds like both companies are great, but I do have to ask, rythymnsmoke, doesn't your sig say that ZPI sponsored you? aren't you a bit biased?

As far as customer service, zpi has answered each and all of my questions, ( even some noob ones, lol). I have never been on hold, or told 2 call back, they simply find the answer right then and there, despite how busy they may be! Kenny and Sean are good peeps, and thats saying alot without even meeting them! As far as going zpi or dezod, you honestly need 2 research for youself. There might be things you like with the dezod kit that you may not like with zpi's and vice versa. It simply all comes down 2 want u want, whether it be power level, ease of installation, just to name a couple. Which ever route you take happy boosting, and hopefully i will in a little over a month! ZPI FOR LIFE!!!

Of course I'm biased....Who isn't?

But my stuff wasn't free you know, nor did I automatically get into Kenny's good gracious from the start.

When he brought me those Springs on his own merit, he had never even met me. That alone produced a lifetime of customer loyalty from me.
