Of course I'm biased....Who isn't?

But my stuff wasn't free you know, nor did I automatically get into Kenny's good gracious from the start.

When he brought me those Springs on his own merit, he had never even met me. That alone produced a lifetime of customer loyalty from me.
I really hope kenny didn't make a big mistake

So far, I think I have generated in the ball park of about $25-$30k in revenue just by word of mouth and videos...and that's being moddest about it...

I know one person in particular, that I'm responsible for introducing to Kenny, who has spent the price of His car at the shop in search of making 500whp...

So, yeah, I think he made a wise decision.

You bought from ZPI and you're going to be happy with it. I hope you picked up the stage 1 kit and didn't settle for the stage 0. One thing is for sure, no one ever complained about the performanceof the kit. Looking foward to the show Pipe.

Dezod kit requires no cutting of the front bumper support. makes about 250 whp out of the box, and offers the option of closed exhaust dump. Includes a plug and play harness so the ecu wiring doesn't need to be chopped up. Also includes Blow off valve and the flange already welded.

I went with Dezod, and am VERY happy.

Stage 1 comes with an HKS BOV and flange, where did you get that information from?

"Picture is missing downpipe. Picture shows BOV which is not included."

Off ZPI's website, or is that not a valid source, lol...

A vaild source would be me telling you it comes with a BOV. An HKS one at that. The site doesn't exactly get updated with every detail. But there is no question sir, it comes with a BOV.

Just read the stickies that PeteyD mentioned that have been posted in this section for over a year probably...

Again, I'll say it one more time (but you should already know this, you been around long enough too):

Stage 0 = No BOV (optional upgrade)

Stage 1 = HKS BOV

i have the turbonetics kit and i was going to do the dezod, but it didnt make the power i wanted, and dezod cost more, the zpi stage 1 is very good for the money and if youre not satisfied, there is always more(stage 1.5 bad a$$)

What kit were you after from Dezod? I know their S1 kit is cheaper than the turbonetics kit running the same turbo with just about the same style setup. I can't argue with you on the power differences between the two because I honestly don't know. Can't emagen it imagine it would that big of a difference.

I'm glad this wasn't on going battle. Sometimes I think people start this thread to see people argue, Quinten I'm glad you made your decision quickly before this become a companies and fanboys war. enjoy your kit. I still havent made a descision on which company I should buy my turbo kit from. Good luck with your kit.

dezod gets my vote. better customer service IMO (IMO!!!) no they dont fly out to tune certain peoples cars, but they are there ALL OF THE TIME to answer questions, they make a top knotch kit (best one ive seen in person, and ive seen almost every major kit out there besides treadstone), and i thought all were horrible compared to the dezod kit (except the TN kit which wasnt bad, im not a fan of greddy, and i thought the ZPI kit looked like garbage, plus the thought of their shipping methods that happened in the past and thinking what if this happens again and to me? no thanks, ill go with dezod who i know ill get my kit from in a timely manner, and if something comes up i know paul will contact me promptly and let me know, instead of avoiding me).

so in other word(s)... Dezod

Wazup dave. Long time no talk too. However, you base your opinion on the way the kit "Looks" not "Performs" as you are more into show instead of go. To some "Looks" are more important. But to others (like myself), I intend on using the turbo for its intended purpose....Smashing the competition. So, I could care less if I won the "Best Shiny Manifold" Award.

But this thread should have been dead and stayed dead.

PS...you seen the Intense Power kit in person? Interesting, seeing as how there is only one car with it on....And that kit "Looks Wise" is BAD AZZ.

yea i saw that kit looks great.

when i said saw i did mean perform too, i was at the track, and the dezod car ran a 13.3 with 18s, a full body kit, and a full system (including 4 12" subs in a HUGE fiberglass enclosure, that took up the whole hatch area (no rear seats))
that was impressive to me. i could only imagine how it would run w.o all that stuff..

anyways how you doin travis? hows the fam?

^^Doing good. Little man is going to be fast just like his daddy.

And about the 13.3 and the body kit system and what not. For every 100lbs a car sheds, it only gains 1/10th of a sec off of it's 1/4mile time.

Our kit is cheaper and produces the same power, but more useable.

Our kits start @ $4265, theirs are $4995, according to their MAP laws

On 8 PSI with our kits we have seen 245whp up to 265whp with nearly matching TQ as well. All of our numbers where made on conservative tunes and a DynoMite dyno. Turbonetics ranks their kit to the crank of 270HP.

Last time I checked....Tnetics advertisement is 300HP @ the Crank.

And define "but more useable"

i think he means that his kit has a wider power band with a broad flat torque curve that is more useful in a daily driver rather than having boost at the upper end of the rpm band.

also, i am confused by the turbonetics kit, i see reports that say they make 240 whp, the site says 270 hp which i suppose is the crank, and then their banner at the top of scion life says an even 300. does anybody have a dyno sheet with the numbers for a turbonetics kit?
