Does the 127mph limiter change when ecu is reflashed for sc?
like i said i have not tried it yet, however i was told that when you hit the limiter you let off the gas real quick then slam it back down and there will be a click noise then you can go over the 127 limiter...... thats what i was told i havnt tried it yet... 127 is plenty fast for now...... so feel free go out and try it, if it works then it works if not then he was full of sh**
yeah well he's full of ____, when the car reads 127 it cuts off, even if you let off the gas and hit it again its still going to read 127 mph and cut you off, besides i've been at 127 numerous times when i had the SC and did that and no loving for me lol
I do know that as you hit higher RPMS the gauge is a little off. By how much I dont know, but my Apexi RSM has a digital tach and that has shown slightly different numbers than what my tach/speedo shows on the analog gauges.
Speed limiter is a speed limiter. 127 is 127. I've never felt the need to go that fast (safety) in a 300whp tC, so I don't think it'd be much safer to do it in a lower powered car, being that it takes that much longer to get there.
Also... The Emanage ultimate has the ability to override the rev limiter but I never knew about the speed limiter. The tC samples from 4 speed sensors so you would need a voltage clamp that hides all four signals from getting to the ECU. I have the Apexi RSM-GP and that has a speed cut defenser. Due to the way our ECU is wired, that feauture is useless on the tC.
I hope that helps.
BTW - 165mph in my Evo

If you would have let off.. opened the glove box, closed it, turned on the dome and then tapped the clutch before hitting the gas again the speedo would have read 5 mph and you would have been able to go faster that 60
Using the steering wheel controls:
Track Up, Track Up, Track Down, Track Down, Volume Up, Volume Down, Volume Up, Volume Down, Mode, Mode, Mode, Horn, then stomp the gas.
You'll either go over 127 mph, have 30 extra lives, or hit that sweet 32 hit combo... I can't remember.

Gah, doesnt anyone ever read?! You just have to connect your +5 hp stickers, and open the doors as you enter the 'free way', then you get 'Flight', then you quickly pass 3 Prius', go through the carpool lan, OVER the center divider, once their cross into the room, open the box, and use the magic flute to jump to your destination, gah, does noone read nintendo power anymore?!
It always makes me laugh when someone come on saying they have gone over 127 with no engine management. Like they somehow got a car without the limiter or they know a "top secret" way to bypass it.
