Dang, I don't have the steering wheel controls for my car. I guess I will just have to buy an e-bay chip and a turbonator to bypass the 127 limiter. Oh crap, with the new flux capacitor I just installed, I can't go over 88mph.

You sure as hell can go over 88mph with the FC.. Just make sure you don't have the 1.86 jiggawatt power supply in and you'll be allllrriightt..

Actually, its only 1.21 jigowatts, but very true. No wonder I couldn't get the dang thing to work...I was trying to go back and buy Microsoft stock the other day and the car wouldn't go back in time.

Hey, anyone know if a Yellow Top will give me the required 1.21 jigowatts?

wow... the stupidity in this thread... if you are going downhill, you can go well above 127mph, the car just wont open the throttle anymore... but 127mph + gravity > 127mph

Yes and no. Once you hit 127 mph, the ECU cuts the fuel and engine compression kicks in to slow you down.

Assuming you make it near 127 mph and throw it in neutral, good luck finding a stretch of road long enough, steep enough, and smooth enough to allow you to accelerate... assuming your tires have enough air to counteract the friction. For argument's sake, you could do it on a 3 to 4 mile 15% grade, like the California side of I-15 near the Nevada state line with no traffic (yeah, right)... and have plenty of space to splatter your body parts across the desert if you wipe out.

Absolutely not. You could be going down a fairly big hill and still not coast past 127, most likely would slow down once you let off the gas. The wind force at that speed very stout across the cross section of the car. That would be one hell of a hill

yeah the hill thing wont work as the tC is drag limited...the force of the air will slow the car.

maybe if we hooked up 10 15" subs to the flux capacitor and faced them towards the hatch and played the Outkast rosa parks song at full blast all the air from the subs would drive the car forward to 129mph????
