Since you guys used my car as an example, the tnetics kit wastegate is very high. So high that with the top bolt on the wastegate chewed into my reverse cowl hood a little. Only like 2mm deep, but it did scratch into it. I would really like to knowvif the alpha kit will fit, because if I build the motor that will be coning too

nice even if turbo looks good at 10k miles i would just go ahead and have it rebuilt so you know its good to go and nothing will come up in a couple hundred miles

Alpha series components fit with a reverse Kami hood with about 1-2" to spare. We designed those components on a car with that hood to ensure worst case clearances.

Lastly, our kit will fit the Kami hood, but you will have to put a small notch on the under-side bracing in the center. I'd also recommend some heatshield lining to help prevent clear coat damage due to excessive radiant heat from any kit with that hood regardless of manufacturer.

The one local customer running around with that hood and our kit has had it on his car for about 40K miles without an issue.

Would there be any chance that you had a picture of where this notch has to be made?

And i was going to buy the turbo foil for the hood to protect it, and probably one of those Turbo blankets.
