Default dyno pic 14 psi

This was on my kit at 14 psi, stock motor, as you can see the power band decreases at the end because of wastegate problems wich the boost was coming down to about 11 psi by redline, and also on a not so efficient turbo. The car has been in the works to try and make plenty more of power.

wats ur setup? boost tapers down in any turbo setup, so its normal to see lower boost levels at redline.

boost does not taper down in any setup. it depends on what turbocharger you are using. the correct turbo setup will allow you to pull great boost for whatever powerband you are looking for...

The turbo was a .42 trim compressor and 40 exhaust side thats why it wasnt being too efficient.

By efficient, you mean the lag right? Cause it looks like there is a good deal of turbo lag.

it lasted about 4 months but prob wouldve lasted longer, but the car got an o2 sensor problem and leaned out a lil bit and fried the rings.

well now i went with pistons, and stock rods, and arp studs, new turbo 60-1 front and well see how much we can make off the stock rods. still breakign in the motor as soon as we ge tthe car dynotuned i will post pics of new charts.

Thats actually the same psi I ran on my car with the stock internals, but made quite a bit more HP, about the same torque. Stock ringlands dont like that much boost.
