Default Electrical problems Please help!!

My tc stalled and will not start or even go into gear. I stupid as I am put a 30 amp fuse in a 15 amp fuse slot for my cigarette lighter and interior blue lights. The 30 amp fuse blew and about 30 seconds later the car stalled and all my emergency lights went on like check engine , abs brake, and low tire inflation, oil lights. I had it towed to a private auto shop and he put the tc on a diagnostic machine and a bad ignition came up and he said my car alarm wiring was run through the steering column and was cut and thus burned out my ignition. he said the ignition come in three pieces and would take a couple of days, I pulled the car out of that garage and had it towed to the dealership becuase i felt the guy was way in over his head on this one and kept leading me on. The dealer called today and said all my emergency lights are on ( know kidding ) and he also said I owe$250 SO FAR and would continue to look at the problem. Now I explained this whloe situation to the dealer before I left, My question is does any of my tc brothers have any suggestions for me. Was it my mistake with the 30 amp fuse in a 15amp slot or the alarm wire being cut and shorting out the ignition thus shutting the car down. Please help, Mike
