So my turbo is finally being shiped in tomarrow and i wasnt sure about the engin management. My coworker at lexus told me that using the much cheeper apexi SAFC Neo would work just as well as an emanage system. Is anyone running apexi and are there any problems with it?

 

i asked dezod about it a while ago, he literally said it was garbage, and they only offer it because some customers ask for it, i guess because they are familar with it.

 

Well the E-manage is about same price but with the boost sensor allows mapping for boost instead of MAF or TPS. The SAFC is ONLY TPS which is not the best for a non factory turbo car trying to run boost. Obviously the best solution is a standalone but depends on your goals. I would at least get the E-manage.

 

i have one, and im gona use it for my turbo tC now to begin w/ just because i had one lieing around, there a _____ and suck if you give it to someone who has no idea how to use it, the place i take my car for dyno runs told me to bring the apexi over the emanage b/c of the expereicne he has w/ hte apexi....later down the line in a few mnths ill pick up an aem fic, i wana try n figure out to run both teh apexi and the aem but just use the apexi as a form of datalogging.
