thats the thing! it stays in the engine, and then when it cools down, it hardens!

this is funny...well not really...

i tried Setup A...i got a CEL with code P0171 (bank1 too lean) but the thing is my car run and responds better than before.......




will a leak in the vacuum hoses throws off this code, too?

do you have any boost on your car? that setup wont work with boost...

Yeah that set up wont work with boost you need to hook up your vacuum line b4 your compressor. So instead of the line going into your intake manifold it would need to go on your intake after the MAF and b4 your turbo.

mike...if ur talking about the tube from the crankcase isn it that it is connected to the intake originally w/c in turn have constant air sucking.....correct me if i am wrong, please.....

so here's my question. The tC has two breather pipes coming from the top of the motor. One feeds into the intake pipe between the s/c and the throttle body. The other goes from the rear of the valve cover to the intake manifold itself. Should both of these be routed into a catch can, or just one? If so which one?

both into one catch can with a Y adapter, and the outlet of the catch can back into intake PRE S/C

That's what I thought. Then Plug the hole where the rear one attached to the intake manifold.
