Default Exhaust cut out on s/c ?

Any one running a s/c try this ? I was thinking of doing a electric cutout right after the s pipe.

DMHperformance.com is the ONLY type of e-cutout you should use. they have a 4 yr warranty against leaks and defects.

BUT it will only benefit you only if you get tuned to make up the leaness that will result. you could probably see a 5hp gain without tuning. 10whp or more with tuning.

my bro with s/c and i are getting the DMH's real soon

you should put it right after the header, and on the S pipe. any further down will make less gains.

I'm running a QTP cutout right after the s-pipe and I promise it doesnt leak a bit! I love it. Sounds MEAN too.

my friend has used QTP before. fell apart after a year with no warranty. he switched to DMH and has not failed him for 1 1/2 year. plus, they have a long warranty, they'll replace for free if any problems.

It would have to go after the rear o2 sensor and it seems like there wouldn't be enough room on the spipe.

it doesnt need to go that far down. the rear o2 is just for reading if the cat is functioning properly. a good welder can make it work.

Is the DHM setup one of the ones where you have to hold the switch ? I was thinking of having it hooked up to a boost activated switch where it would only open at a set amount of boost.
