Default exhaust leak, need a little help

ok so i just need a little help here lol. i have a small exhaust leak on my turbo tc and i was told that i could just have it welded or something else to stop it from leaking. anyone have any suggestions? if this particular area (in the red box) can be welded then i would rather do that since it would be a much better permanent fix and i can have it done by tomorrow lol. if not though, does anyone have any other suggestions on how to fix it? its not really causing a prob that i know of, would just be piece of mind to have it fixed, thx! http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4853784 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4853787 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4853786

Where is your exhaust leak. Is your turbo manifold cracked or is there just a leak in a gasket or something? If it is the turbo manifold yes the best way to go is to weld it. but more than likley the crack will keep spreading thats why a cast turbo manifold is the best way to go.

i have the links to the pics up as to where it is, sry i would post the actual pics on the post but i cant fig out how to do it lol, its not a crack or nething, its where i guess the sealant that they put in that pipe has "unsealed" itself and is now leaking im not sure what the actual piping there is called but its the pipe that runs off the wastegate and into the downpipe? i believe thats it, sry still learning what exactly everything is called lol, also if neone can explain how to put the images on the post itself i would greatly appreciate it and will do so right away lol.

Oh okay now I see the problem it, its the dischare pipe of your wastegate to the exhaust system. If you plan on leaving the kit on the car and not removing it often I would def weld it. If not I think you could get a good coupling that could kinda crimp the two pieces of metal together, kinda like a u bolt clamp. But If I were you I would def have it welded. hey your the same guy from the other post i just answered. haha

Good luck man the turbo kit looks like it is built very well. I noticed the turbo manifold is cast. Which is great for reliability. Anyways if you have any further question just post em up or PM me. Happy Modding.

There's a leak there because the dump tube off the wastegate to the downpipe is a "Slip-Fit" exhaust pipe. No perfect seal. Why dezod built the kits like that is beyond me, but as i told ya i used a product called "thermal steel" which goes on as a paste, and hardens to seal exhaust componets. It crusted off after a while i assume due to the higher EGTs from F/I.
