Default fuel managment required for 3-4psi...

I'am slowly gathering parts to do a turbo kit based off the dezod manifold+turbo. I want to eventually get a stand-alone like aem ems; but, in the meantime want some boost now. I was just wondering how the car would run with just 3-4psi (.25bar spring)
w/o any extra fuel. I know that the zpi stage 0 kit runs ~5-6 w/o any extra fuel/tuning.

Given what little I know about "MAF" setups I gather that the turbo will suck more air throught the MAF so the ecu knows that it will need more fuel as long as it doesn't exceed ~5v for the table reference, then the ecu would go into a safe mode. My question is I heard that the under the wot map that ecu aims for ~13.1:1 air/fuel ratio. I guess running only a couple pounds of boost will not raise the effective compression ratio enough to really detonate with stock timing and 13:1 air fuel? is this true

p.s. I will be using 93oct. and a FMIC which at 3-4psi will probably not be helping much.

also, will the t3/t4 turbo experience compressor surge at only 4psi? I know there is no way of knowing without a compressor map, I image/hope it is around a 50trim compressor

Our turbo? No it is not a 50 trim. I would imagine almost any turbo of decent size will surge at that low PSI

thanks. I guess it is not going to make any sense to put on the turbo and only run 3-4psi, I will just have to wait patiently untill I can buy proper fuel management. Until then I will just play with your diy kit in my room, ha.

^ Please dont go into any futher detail about playing with the kit in your room.

Just get yourself an AFC cheap somewhere, 3-4psi should be fine, depending on how much CFM the turbo you are using flows at that PSI.

EXACTLY, it is more about the CFM of the turbo. But with a modestly sized turbo at 3 to 4 psi you should be ok with the stock ECU and fuel management.

yeah, I don't think it is going to be a big difference in CFM at that low of a psi. A 16g and t3/t4 probably aren't putting out that much difference in cfm at that low of boost. Iam actually more concerned with compressor surge. I might just wait till I get the aem ems. or just run 4psi now.
