Default Gasket For Turbonetics T3/T4

I recently noticed that the silicone gasket that made when I installed my turbo has burnt away and I have some small exhaust leaks now as a result. I called permatex and the highest temp sealant they have is the one I used (rated at around 650-700 degrees). It's the stuff that even turbonetics recommended. Last weekend I took the turbo off and re-made the gasket and the same thing happened a couple days later. Anyone have a suggestion on what else I can use to make a gasket for the turbo-downpipe mating surface? Turbonetics doesn't make a gasket for it, I alreayd tried askin them. Any help would be great.

call up S&K speed in lindenhurst...you could make your own gasket from a blank template and then just use the permatex(im guessing your using the copper color) to seal it.

Aight thanks. Nah I was using the one that tubonetics told me to use, its the reddish orange high temp rtv. i was looking for a place to get the exhaust gasket material from to make a template but I wasn't sure who would carry that. Thanks a lot for the info!

There is an exhaust sealant that you try. I beleive it's made by Permatex....It's kind of like clay and hardens to about the same consistency as clay as well. I used that to seal a DP for a civic that was not sealing well. Make sure to apply a few coats in stages it gets brittle.
