btw how long should it take for a Competent shop to install a GReddy Ultimate in a car???
because 8 hours for a RE-WIRE and soldering, 8 hours seems pretty off to me. (they wired it b4 the tune and b4 it messed up)

one other thing. how can you tell if its the injectors arent maxed out yet and is the pump. and vice versa.

 

I'm telling u dude, get Dezod on AIM and he will tell u everything with DETAILS. They know almost everything about the tC. I really recommend it. Not enough ppl here have entered this thread to have the correct info. I'm trying my best to help u, but I'm no expert yet. So.. :D

 

OK, I got my car back today.........they said my A/F ratio is........18:1..............
that's they lowest they said they could go. last Thursday it was 12:1 I don't know what happen. I guess the timing did a lot.............

And they told me one other thing about GReddy.......
.......I dont know if its true or not but they told me GReddy never physically TESTED the GReddy e-Manage Ultimate on our tCs b4.............
yet they still tell us they will work...........

I have a harness, but not the one like dezod has to connect everything with no splicing.

to me, it seems like it runs worse than when I had the emanage blue.
my egt reads higher faster, but on a 70mph drive for 2 hours the temp is the same as when my blue was install.
well I boost .25psi higher....WOW haha

are you boosting? if so I hope things go well with yours. and let me know about your fuel set up. injectors and pump. because mine this shop is telling me to redo my whole system....pump line filter rail and injectors.....F that they told me 1000 in parts alone

yeah I saw that soro the map is for 440cc injectors.
this shop is telling me the smart key is fukcing up with the timing or whatever on the greddy, which makes the car not start up...........so the shop tells me

 

o i c, im assuming you have a extension harness type

im getting mine from a forum member so the only problem i can see is if i get problems with shipping.

 

yeah they had to splice and solder a shiet load of wires.

did you had any acc hooked up to it? i got the map sensor and the a/f harness.

did you also update the firmware on your ultimate? the file is posted on greddy's site

 

well I did update the firmware but my laptop wont connect to the ultimate so I cant really look at what's in the emanage. the shop did all that stuff on their laptop.
and no i didnt have any acc hooked up with it.
I am in a process of of buying a bigger fuel pump and see if that helps any

 

reading all the stuff they did to it , i would go somewhere else and ask for a second opinion. it doesnt hurt to try.

Got all da goodies, too lazy to put it on. I'm guessing within a da month everything should be up and tuned.

 

ok cool. well I'm going to go to T1 like Jeff suggested to see if they can fix my ultimate. but it will be awhile since im all poor now ill keep it posted once i get it done

 

i put on the ultimate with the af and map acc with it, no tuning yet. running stock settings.

any updates on yours?

 

nope, I'm too busy with work to go down to dallas to do anything. I am still only boosting 6lbs

 

so has anyone been able to successfully tune their N/A tC?
