Guy on CSTC claims 426whp on 12.5 lbs...
upon reviewing B reals questions and answers that were given on CSTC.
i too am confused by the situation.. the numbers i guess...
but b real would be correct in saying the physics are off.

i talked to several very well known ppl on the phone today lmao.. they all came to conclude that teh dyno had to be miss calibrated.. i mean 12.5 psi.. t3/t4 turbo, no meth, lower comp, and 426whp ON A MUSTANG? thats like 450 dynojet.. thats insane.. and 450whp with 650cc injectors and no return setup? wouldnt u be running out of fuel by then? i didnt create the thread to bash but im just saying this is the highest hp tc with that pressure rating weve seen to date.

If you calculate the CFM for a boosted tC with a stock motor, 10 psi = roughly 396CFM, which equates to around 270HP, give or take depending on temp, timing, blah blah. On a new head and 12.5 PSI (assuming he peaks at around 7500RPM), he's flowing roughly 520CFM, which is about 350HP. If he has lower compression pistons, which I thought I saw something about that, that's more likely 330HP. There isn't an extra 100WHP to find in tuning, you simply cannot make that many alterations if you're not flowing enough air. No one ever takes CFM's into the equation. More CFM = more power (assuming matching fuel). More boost != more power. And since my math is right, he's not flowing anywhere near enough air to make 426WHP.
And if you want to do the math yourself, feel free to test out the equation on ANY vehicle. I did it for the stock tC and came up with 157HP. Did it for my tC and came up with 283HP.
(CID*PeakRPM*Volumetric Efficiency*Pressure Ratio)/3456
VE is generally around 88-90% for late model cars with a DOHC 4-Valve valvetrain. And to get the Pressure Ratio, (14.7+Boost)/14.7
That gives you CFM. It's not 100% accurate, but to get HP from CFM, it's generally (CFM)/1.5. It's more of a rule of thumb than anything.
*Note - I used 7500 because I'm fairly certain that's what PTuning's head revs to, and I don't know of any heads that will rev higher than that.

chad no one is arguing that. Marcelo was just saying 60-1 FTW cuz you guys have that turbo...
Yes, Carb you are correct.
Not to mention his built head was only limited to stock 6200 redline as mentioned in one of his posts (response to my question).
I definitely see a BS flag on the horizon.

i already called it. hence why the post is made. rob stop picking on me and giving me attitude because ur car isnt tuned man, if ur mad at luiggi or dislike him dont take it out on me. not cool. btw he said hes tuning ur car this upcoming week.

I was laughing because if the things you posted...
You posted that you thought dyno'ing in 4th gear was weird.. and didn't know why he did it.
You then "corrected" Marcelo for something that he didn't even mean... hence why I was asking if you were drinking... more of a joke than anything.
And yes my car is tuned.. tuned by me. Go ask Luiggi if he tried to use an OBD-II scanner to tune my car.. cuz he didn't and yet he was trying to tune my car in closed loop. Also ask him how he didn't know what to say when I asked him about modifying the injector response time.
lol, you've got some growing up to do.
