I'm running a Turbonetics Kit and for some reason at idle I'm having a hiccup problem. After just cruising and coming to a stop the car would have a hiccup problem and the idle isn't smooth at all. The idle doesn't jump up or down like the other thread on here it just hiccups. I looked at my wideband and everything is fine. I currently tuned with Greddy Ultimate Emanage.

 

guess you didn't see my thread. i had the same problem cuz the gap on my plugs was too small. i changed the gap from .030 to about .040 and the problem went away.

maybe this is your problem, what kind of plugs are you using and what gap?

 

I would also say sparkplugs and check every little vacuum line.

 

i'm running stock plugs and i believe it's gapped at 0.35

do i have to get sparkplugs made specifically for the tc or are they universal? There's a warehouse called Extreme PSI where i live that sells like NGK and DENSO step colder plugs for hondas, evos, and sti

 

yes that is the thread, NGK and Denso are the only thing I have used. I'm running 2 steps colder!

 

i just placed an order for the NGK Iridium BKR8EIX two step colder.

 

Nice. where did you purchase them from? I'm curious to get a thread going on lowest priced plugs..
