Finally got the CEL code read...

P0301 Cylinder #1 — Misfire Detected
P0302 Cylinder #2 — Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder #3 — Misfire Detected

and a code P0000 - anyone know what this is?

Also the CEL was flashing (3 times) when I attempted to drive the car.

misfire was because it running so rich when it stalled. hence why you smelled the fuel.

P0000 = No Self Diagnostic Failure Indicated. which is odd considering you had 3 other codes....ive heard of this happening to people with RAV4's which uses the 2azfe (that being the only code found). id say that code is nothing to worry about

When the CEL flashes, that means its misfiring

Already did yesterday...all four has a little carbon built up. I could not find any step 3 NGK iridiums have to order online. But I have some step 1 denso iridiums that I tried...no success.

Maybe bad fuel or tune? If it is the tune, then thats my last resort to going back to the tuner to retune. I gotta pay again and if thats the case, I might as well just get a standalone, return fuel setup, catch can, etc. and do it all at once to get this **** over with. And the gas, ive always used premium, ive hardly encountered a case where a premium gas could be bad, errr.

Well just wanna update everyone. we did a compression test and cylinder 3 was messed up. Bent a valve and damaged my BC cam...aah! We dont know why/how it did that. My plan is to find a stock head for know and just keep it that way, until maybe I re-stationed to the continental US (another base) and hopefully there are better shops around overthere. This island is limited to what I wanna do. I might restation to Fort Bragg, NC early next year.

Anyone with a spare complete cylinder head?

Yeah the head is out, no pics though, its not like its all carnaged lol. My friends convinced me not to give up and get another built head...sooo I found trd07tc on here was selling his 2007 head. I called Paul at Dezod for their Built Head and have trd07tc ship the head he is selling to Dezod. So its just a matter of time til everything is done (couple weeks). Im gonna get it tuned to low boost though til I restation to Fort Bragg, NC and find knowledgeable tuners.

Yeah we have no idea why and how it did that. We had a machine shop look at it, and they cant find anything wrong with the head. We think that the head itself is bad, I bought the head already PnP, ferrea valves and valve springs, with stock cams before and it warped a lobe on that stock cams (making ticking noise) . Then thats when I got a set of BC cams and it did it again and also bent an exhaust valve (althought this time it didnt make any noise - just stalled on me at the stop light). But before that It was running strong, the only issue I had was the "starting issue". It would crank too long to start, same issue as some guys here are having.
