Default help with e85

i dont know if you guys remember me but i use to have a 05 tc running a zpi kit. well since then i blew the motor due to a bad turbo seal and then i sold the scion and bought a sentra ser spec v. ive been very curious about e85. i know it works great if boosted but i wanted to know if i could run it on my stock motor. i have a e85 gas station a few blocks down and its dirt cheap compared to the other gas. i plan on boosting my spec maybe in the summer if i can save up enogh cash but for now gotta settle for this stockness lol

i searched but didnt find anything just found people running it with a turbo kit. as for my old motor the seals were done and it was blowing oil into my intake mani i took of the kit as soon as i saw wat was happening but the damage was already done. on a trip to florida my motor just gave out. when it was taken apart i had a huge piece of my pistion ring on my 4th cylinder missing. i think i have a pic il try and find it and post it

You need a way to modify the fuel maps to run E85 and at minimum a higher flowing fuel pump and injectors

i see it being pointless to run e85 on a stock motor like yours. youll gain maybe 20whp but get alot less mpg. sure its cheaper....but once you tune for e85 you have to run e85 unless you retune for reg gas.

but if you do decide to run e85.......
make sure your fuel lines will take it(2004ish up stock lines can cause there isnt alot of rubber)
bigger injectors because it will take more fuel
fuel pump
tune
