im a little curious how many of you have built bottom ends that have survived a year or more. I ask cause I was checking some messages I got on my youtube channel and noticed the vid I put up of my built engine starting for the first time is a year old now. Just doesnt seem that long ago but I do remember building it last winter (freezing my ace off while doing it...lol)though.
So to celabrate my engines b-day im giving it a new chew toy, a nice shiny ACT 6puck hd clutch kit.....lol

im always self conscious when i run i feel like my left foot is stronger than my right foot...from the clutch. does that make me crazy or any of u feel this way too?

with that clutch your going to run circles around your self from all that extra calf muscle your going to get.

iv installed quit a few of these clutches already and every time i did I had to test drive it. its damn hard to come from testing them to a stock clutch, almost feels like when you clutch in your sticking your foot in a bowl full of pudding...lol..I havnt been on a stock clutch in over a year now, right this second im using an act street disk with a stage 3 cc pressure plate. its much stiffer than stock but not quite as stiff as an act hd pressure plate.

I think its seen around 9000 miles. Wow, just realized I drive ALOT haha. Put 9000 miles on the tC in just over a year, and my Tundra just hit its first birthday, and Ive put almost 20,000 miles on it lol

Yeahhhhh haha. Been thinking alot recently about spending the money on a gearset. I wonder if the PTuning gearset ever went through? I guess I should at least try REM polishing this one to see if it holds up better. To be honest though Ive only had one fail directly from power. The other 3 either had some other kind of fault that led to their destruction, probably due to them coming from junkyards haha.
Yeah the most recent had a bad cv axle seal I didnt catch until too late, I ran it almost completely dry and 4th has been ____ed up since. Another one my clutch was having issues and I beat up 2nd to the point I destroyed the collar and it would pop out all the time. One, however, I was on street tires, and left the boost at 26 psi and it spun till like 7k and than caught, and subsequently blew the gear to shreds. However that same trans held up for several months on 26 psi on the MT ET streets.
what did you get Chris? :-)
Dude I don't go back to work until next Monday, let me know what's up.
P.S. Paul, feel free to spill the beans.
