If you do run into problems with the harness, send it to boomslang, they are great people to deal with. I had an issue with my PnP ultimate harness not reading time correctly.

Wasnt even a boomslang harness, he fixed it in a day, shipped it back, no charge. Said a few wires were mixed up but now it works perfectly.

yep thats him, if you decide to just shoot him an email, or call, i emailed him, shipped harness next day, he fixed it next day, i had it back on the 3rd day. they are also local to me, about an hour away.

For the Blue box you have to use the USB to Serial cable. For the Ultimate you use a standard USB 1.1 cable like you would find for a peripheral device (printer, scanner, fax machine..etc).

Try another USB cable as well if you have not tired that.
