an open dump w/ a dump tube isnt bad. all the dirtyness get put underneith.

a recollected tube into the downpipe will cause some turbulence and hurt spoolup....

 

My car got a LOT louder after I added the turbo, but that's also becuase I changed the exhaust from S-Pipe, all the way back.

 

well yeah, it'll do them went you delete a cat/resonator/restrictive axleback ;)

if you've already got an opened up exhaust, the addition of a turbo will down the audio level a tad though

 

i used to live in irvine...haha, movin back there in the summer.....can't wait to here that spool and the bov....eh, zpi "should" ship out next week...but we'll see

 

Having a dumptube off the wastegate is really worth the $30 or whatever - open wastegate FTL IMO.

Mine isn't plumbed back into the downpipe as that would be a much more costly solution but the tube goes down to where it connects with the exhaust. The sound difference is incredible, and you can hear the turbo spinning in all it's glory.

 

i don't like the open dump sound, it is way too loud for me, i thought my kit came with a recirculated dump any suggestions on how to quiet that down in a cost effective manner?

 

i love the sounds of the open dump.....its sounds really mean imo...haha
