hey guys just want to know how many ppl have issues with world racing intake mani. with idling issue?

im sure there will always be issues since the air flow characteristic has changed a lot.. it seems to have more flow potential on it but I imagine there would be more than ignition and fuel tuning that would be involved..

Drax you seriously had LESS power with descedant intake manifold ?

have you tried tuning for it to make power ?

from what i've heard, idle needs to be tuned rich to idle right.

That goes with alot of things, Cams, Super large injectors,major head work.

^^^ Word on the rich part i got cams and 900cc injectors and my idle is 13.0-13.5 otherwise it shuts down.

yeah, especially cams. i've always been tuned to idle around 13.0, it idle a lot smoother the richer ya go. hey mike, pm me a shipping address for this snail.

he made something like 240 with altered atmoshpere tuning it...then ptuning touched it up to make then ptuning fixed some leaks and it made something like 270 ro 260...then when ptuning installe dhis stock manifold with the same tune and boost level he made like 5 or 10 more hp....

i'm surprised nobody has come out with the intake that actually works and shows what gains are to be expected...

Well I havent dyno'd yet but I have zero idle issue so far with 1000cc and the IM.

btw when a 30 hp gain is claimed and a customer loses power....things need redisigning or disconted pricing

I think it just has to do with tuning. But I'm not a fan of there mani. That thing has never been proven and cost a ton.

they ruswolf how much did vinny ten charge you for the tune? i was thinking goin there since they are the only that can tune the hydra nemesis.. and i really don t wanna take out the intake mani.. i didnt do the dezod head but i do have bc stage 2 fi cams with springs and 1mm over sized valves with an 3 angle valve job.. tho...

all im gonna say is my intake mani had a hole in it at 21 psi and meth... we are thinking the meth made it weaker but who knows...
