how many ppl have idle issues with world racing mani.

As far as idling issues, a stand alone will have better control with idle and would be a good choice. I think if a tC had a 8000 rpm redline then the WR manifold would yield better results.

i've never seen a manifold actually increase HP. take EVO's for example they did a spread in Dsport and there was only like 1 that increased HP over stock outta some 10 tested. and at a shop i used to go to whenever they'd do a retune on the dyno it always showed a power loss.
Yes and look at the torque. I test drove his car after intial tune and then after tune with stock manifold, it was much better with the stock manifold. As far as tuning for power with the different manifold.... MBT is MBT.

yea i noticed all that justin but even with the 8k redline the descendant manifold would only be good form 6k to 8k....stock makes tq n power all the time this WR manifold didn teven look like it wante dto make power till 6k
they ruswolf how much did vinny ten charge you for the tune? i was thinking goin there since they are the only that can tune the hydra nemesis.. and i really don t wanna take out the intake mani.. i didnt do the dezod head but i do have bc stage 2 fi cams with springs and 1mm over sized valves with an 3 angle valve job.. tho...
Here is what Vinny did:
Tuned the car from ground zero on 16 psi high and 12 psi low
Redline raised to 7000RPM
Removed secondary catalyst converter from my mid-pipe and welded in a straigh pipe in its place
Installed Ptuning fuel return system
Installed Ptuning 900cc injector
Installed wilwood BBK
Installed mishimoto thermostat
Here is what still left to be done ( and already paid for ) as soon as i get few more parts.
Installation of Koyo radiator
Installation of new fans
Installation of silicone hoses
Removing/Reinstalling exhaust manifold
Removing/Reinstalling S-pipe
Re-tune and complete tune for 20psi high/12 psi low
Setting up 2 step launch control
Raising redline to 7500RPM
So, all of the above included it came down to $3400 including NY rape like taxes...
Vinny by no means is cheap, but one thing i can't take away is that he does his job really well and the car drives really smooth and pretty much feels like it came boosted stock.
If you decide to get tuned by him let me know and i will tell him that i reffered you and he'll give you a best possible deal.
^^And it's not the peak 5-10whp number gained over the aftermarket Mani. It's a peak gain over nearly Half the powerband that counts. That's crazy how much more the stock gained over it.
Perhaps the reason why everyone sticks with a stock unit, since an IM isn't one of those Best Bang For the Buck buys unless you are pushing 800whp and reving to 8000k.

The point is that intake manifold is a waste of money unless your pushing massive amounts of boost. Then you should get it but you won't be getting it for performance you'll be getting it so it won't explode like the plastic one will. For me I am gonna go the custom route. I already have a before dyno so i'm good.
lol, tough question ...
