Important question on Weapon R s/c intake?
Ptuning always tests a vehicle thoroughly. They don't just slap it on the dyno, set a tune, then hand it back. Your car may spend more time on their dyno than it would at other shops, but for good reason. They also usually take it out for a test drive to make sure things are good.
It definitely wouldn't hurt to ask though.

i have heard nothing but good about ptunning.
i'm having them install and tune a hand full of parts.
i have owned 3 cars with intakes never any problems.
this is the "first forced induction intake" i have had.
and seeing there could be problems. it makes me hesitant.
but thanks for the info.
thanks for the tread BRsciontc
any other suggestions hit me up

take for instance in car and driver, they put some bolt-on parts onto their long-tern 2009 subaru impreza wrx. they added a k&n intake to it and made a nice gain, then they added a magnaflow exhaust system and made even more torque, but the power gain from each individual bolt-on was not cumulative because when combined, the increased air flow overwhelmed the ECU and it would pull timing at full boost. so they had to tune it to get a net result.
