Its ALIVE!
Yev, a brace, like brace your self in coming.
You weld a brace on the down pipe so you can bolt it to the engine. This way the down pipe, turbo, manifold and engine are one unit. By doing this and putting a flex at the pivot point of the engine you effectively isolate all the parts we are talking about. You can do it now with your current setup and add a flex and wouldn't have to worry about a crack ever again.

^^ Sounds interesting Don, do you have a picture of how it should look ?
Yeah i dont think i'm buying new manifold, my brother is goiung to weld my current manifold, we are going to weld in flex pipes and try to do what Don is saying and run the car at 20psi.. dont need more then that.
i hope i can just get a better idea and possible a picture of how bracing looks like.

going back into this post, do you know what injector response settings (ohms) did vinny set on your map.. also did he set your injector lag specs on the trim map on the hydra, those could affect opening and closing of injectors when not set..I just got the ptuning 900 specs ill prolly will setup when i get to it
^^^ Ace i honestly didnt know about that therefore i didnt ask these questions you mentioned.
now question to everyone, anyone ever heard of a company Godspeed ?
they seem to be producing fans and high performance radiator fo us.
but i'm leaning towards SPAL fans and Koyo radiator.

no the car is home and i'm in Kuwait enroute to Baghdad for another 6 month.
once my manifold is fixed, new radiator and high performance fans will go in as well and then retune and finished map will follow with 7.5K redline and traction control and launch control dialed in as well.
12 psi daily driver and 20 psi pump gas race setting. so by the time i'm back at the end of summer/beggining of fall the car should be 100% ready as far as tuned and reliable colling system and manifold. Only few thing will be left to do, wider tires and LSD and thats it i will be good for a while.

Also, I was reading your thread here, and saw this.....
This is the radiator I plan to go with - apparently this brand is really catching on and make some awesome radiators - btw one really "cool" thing is its a 3 row vs the stock single row - and as far as I know the mishi and the koyo are 2 row.

Do we understand that Mizu is a knock-off of Mishimoto?
OP, awesome thread, just finished reading through it. Good luck with the build!

Thanks for your support guys ! I really do appreciate it... its tough being away from everything you love and definately makes you appreciate little things more ! Therefor i think each and every american should get deployed at least once for a full 12 month tour.
Now comes the question:
If i get TT V 2.1 manifold, how many changes to my charge piping would i have to do ? I currently have dezod's charge pipes.
I do know i'll have to get new downpipe and s-pipe ( if i have to get new ones i might as well upgrade to 3" )

Do you guys think that rewelding dezods manifold will be as strong as new or should i just get V 2.1 TT that someone offered to me ?
How would these manifolds compare at 20psi ?
