Default It's that time for me :)

It's almost time for me to go F/I and I can't decide between these two kits. The DEZOD kit or the Ptuning kit. I can get the DEZOD for $3,580 and the Ptuning for $4,795. It seems I can go with the DEZOD kit and save some money for other things like gauges, clutch, etc., for similar amount of performance, right? Let me know your opinions and thoughts.

Also, if I go with the DEZOD kit, do I have to get rid of the AC? As I don't have to with the Ptuning kit. I'm still going to keep up the research myself on both these kits while I decide. Please let me know and thanx for your replies.

similar NOOOOOOO, boost ya but not similar. trust me man their is a million threads on here already bout the same question. Dezod is a really nice company but they have not changed much on their kit excepy for minor things here and their. Dezod offers good customer service also so you cant go wrong. They are supposed to be releasing an alpha kit with an el tubed manifold that is better than their log. Ptuning on the other hand also has good customer service and has been their to help out all ther clients and they are fast shipping things out. I am sure their kit will be released soon but I would hands down go with ptuning. I love their design and their kits will actualy rival Turbotoyotas sexy nnanifolds. TT is another good company you could look at.

Thanx for the replies. Yeah, I had originally planned Ptuning but, wasn't sure. Fact of the matter is, I'm not looking to put maximum amount of HP out of my car. I want a reliable Turbo Kit that will net me close to 270WHP-300WHP. Also, that alpha kit from DEZOD is looking promising but, it's gonna be wayyyyy too expensive. The reason why I was considering DEZOD is because they're kit is cheaper than ptuning and TT and still nets me some good HP ratings. dezod puts it exactly as I want "a streetable, complete, OEM fitting turbo system, with lots of useable power. It's ideal for the daily driver who seeks more power to challenge the occasional highway threat or red light rev. Whether your looking to make the daily commute more enjoyable or make the occasional track appearance." This is my Daily Driver but, I want to be able to make an occasional track appearance. I don't make much money but, I do want a good quality kit that I'll be happy with.

I'm only a dominos delivery boy right now (Using a diff car of course)

dezod kits can get what most people needs but it depends on your goals, if you are in a tighter budget you can go with dezod.. but im gonna vote with ptuning though, has greater potential if you need it and design looks great and easily bolts up to their exhaust system and a lot of extra features.. both kits are great

Yeah, Ptuning does look like the best out there for our car so, if I can afford it then , I'll go with ptuning. Also, scikotictc, I looked more into turbotoyotas and that looks like a great quality kit. I've been looking at whatever videos I can find to see it in action and it looks to be a nice turbo. Seems to pull alot I'll save for Ptuning, otherwise it's between TurboToyotas and DEZOD.

Are you getting a kit real soon? If so, you might want to call PTuning and see if you can still qualify for the preorder price of $4395.

dezods will be cheaper and u will have money leftover like u said for gauges, clutch, short____er etc. if u go with ptunings are u saying u wont be able to get these things? if thats the case id go with dezod becuz god knows i wouldnt run a kit without gauges. u do realize ull need a tune aswell correct so factor in another 500, im guessing ur goals are like 280-320whp.. if so dezod can get u there cheaper than ptuning.. ptuning is getting the mass vote because 1) kit looks sickadiculous 2) nobody really has it yet so ppl wanna see results 3) it will prob make a little more power at same psi levels, but if ur not gonna swap things out in the future to get more power id say go with the dezod kit, cheaper, reliable, its known for the reliability as we really have no idea about ptunings yet even though it is ptuning and if something did go wrong they would probably replace everything. and if u go dezod u can get a bunch of other goodies as u said. now if ur pockets were deeper id say f it and go ptuning, why not.

like they said, but also consider that Dezod you will need to find a tuner, whereas Ptunings kit will come pre-tuned! So how much are you really saving with Dezod?

it comes with a map, u cant say it comes TUNED because thats false. all cars are different and have different modding, either way if u get ptunings kit have a tuner play with their map to get the best results out.

^yes, but they plan on having a map that makes the car "fully driveable" out of the box, meaning you install and boost!

Dezod has a base map to allow you to start the car, and at least drive in vac to a tuner.

it would be best to ask ptuning, but from what i have read, it will literally be plug and play!

^of course, but he said he's not looking for the most power, just a reliable turbo kit, and with the map that ptuning includes he will have the power he wants, with the possibility of improving in the future!

i would first look for tuners in you area and look at prices, then consider ptuning if prices are too high, or there are lack of good tuners in your area!

btw World Racing, or Descendant has a sick **** kit as well, similarly priced to the ptuning kit, and also comes pre-tuned for true plug and play action!

i have not see one running, but i have seen the kit in person and the way it comes "pre-assembled" and it looks absolutely stunning!

and like Ptuning, Decendant Kit is also "race proven" and has lots of room to grow if you choose to in the future!

the descendant isnt priced similairly to the ptuning kit. Descendant kit is almost 6k (with engine management)
