Just Registered for Redline Time Attack
awesome. I like your mentality about running even without great tires or brakes. Track time and experience is more valuable than anything else. Many make the excuse that their car is not prepared enough to race, I frown upon that.
This year the time attack is definately more competitive as I found out in Chicago. Last year I was able to hold my own in street class and podium... this year the competitors I was close to or faster than last year, have stepped it up. I simply got out-powered. My car was dialed in and much better than last year, and it still wasnt enough. I will be sitting out Nashville because I know I will get crushed, but I will aim to debut my new set-up in the NJ time attack.
here is a cool roof cam shot from Chicago time attack practice, you can see that the k20 swapped civic out-powers me, he was a top competitor that I struggled to keep up with. http://www.ptuningscion.com/subdir/motorsports.cfm
video on far right

^^LOL....thanks Slikk. Slikk and I run SCCA AutoX together nearly every 2weeks. He always places podium finish. I'm getting the hang of it though, and look to start picking up the pace in our local events.
I have been AutoXing for the past month, forgot to mention that to you guys. Yes...doing it with the stock-worn out-factory wheels and rubber. It sucks, but I'm addicted to going around corners. I do straight line now when I'm just bored and it's a weekday, as the AutoX is only held every 2weeks on a Sunday.

Saturday I will be just posted up under the Scion Booth with the rest of the car club. Then Sunday I'm going to be in Pit Lane with the rest of the competitors.

The X has almost the same motor as the Gen, that's weird that it gives up at 350.

Naaa....I was growing tired of wanting a change. Sometimes you have to go slow to go fast.
