For the boosted guys out there who may have the dealership or shop work on your car it may be a good idea to swap out to a more safe tune.
some people see a boosted car and wonder what it can do when your not looking so its not a bad idea to have a sort of "valet" tune if your haveing work done that doesnt consist of someone going into boost.
what i would do is take your map that your running and anything above 14.7psia (depending on how high above sealevel you are) run it rich and take more timeing out but save it under a different name.
just a thought.

Yeah, Cobb AP and Ecutek(i think ) have valet mode. There are a lot of threads on nasioc about it. It makes the rev limit 3k haha. Some funny stories over there.

well for the short version, he sends his car to Don Mcgill Toyota (i think thats right) to have a new key married to his transponder ecu (he had to get a new key). he gets the car back with cracks in his body kit, smoking out of the exhaust, and a check engine light for crank position sensor.
idk what to make of the whole thing till i get there and survey it all but it sounds like they were not very gentle with his car.
to me messing around with another persons car is right up there with messing with someones wife!...no matter how you look at it, its wrong.
again i cant confirm that till i look at it and see what the deal is, but i cant emagine anyone being harder on that car than Kyle is....lol

WTF Happened?? Oh yea and N/A sucks ___! the tranny is seriousely about to loose first and is in really bad shape - i need it to last until i do the manual swap in a couple months so i took it back to n/a tonight
Man its slow
But it shifts and doesnt slip like crazy lol It sucks seeing my turbo sitting on the floor of my garage
haha no way my car is going to the valet parking any longer.. i did took it to the dealership one time, i just set my boost to spring pressure and soft cut rev limit to 4500.. just in case they get too curious lol
yeah, i was about to say limiter settings, but that's been covered. That or maybe some type of datalogging to prove "joy-riding". Won't mind someone abusing my car to make an example out of them.

iv never taken my car to the dealership when i was boosted...EVER!!!!!
personally (now that just me and i don't advise anyone to do this) i would retard timing and dump mass amounts of fuel so that the car runs like ubber poop when going anything above 50% throttle.
I'm paranoid, can you tell?....lol

i almost took my car in yesterday for a new key but luckily i found mine....i was gonna start datalogging it though as soon as i parked it incase of this. i had buddies that worked at dealerships so i know what they can do haha.
