I can't even think of a reason to have to take it to the dealer anyways...

Warranty work not relating to the engine. I've had to go in three times so far, once for a stress crack on the windshield, once for a broken hatch garnish, and once for the side mirror motor. For things like this though, I stay at the dealer while they're doing the work. I'm over 45k now though so I probably won't be back. Things like the key fob though you just need to go in for.

If I need something major, I'd go to the one a bit further from my house, but our club chapter president works there and can keep an eye on things.

yea, "mastertech86" is a tech at our local one.. If had anything done i would request him being the only one doing the work!

So if anyone in the orlando area needs anything done.. A+ for his dealer work!

idk what to make of the whole thing till i get there and survey it all but it sounds like they were not very gentle with his car.

to me messing around with another persons car is right up there with messing with someones wife!...no matter how you look at it, its wrong.

again i cant confirm that till i look at it and see what the deal is, but i cant emagine anyone being harder on that car than Kyle is....lol
Did he raise hell when he saw his car in that condition?

HAHAHA I called Toyota Corporate and they said they have so many complaints filed against the dealership they would not be able to process mine for a few weeks. They pretty much said they will do nothing about it. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB also. When I said something to the manager he insulted me and had this smart ___ smirk on his face the whole time. They don't give a ____ about what they do to people.

Well now I have 4 keys so I will hopefully never have to go back to a dealership ever agian. Oh and Chris, I work today it would have to be after saturday... I don't have a set work schedule yet.

EDIT: I'm gonna get some pics. Maybe that will help explain it a bit better.

Not sure if it is blown or if it backfired or something like that. It's doesn't spool right and I am blowing out smoke now. Plus the flanges are all covered in fresh soot. Not sure if he drove it or if he just sat there revving it to red line.

Gotta see what Chris says about the turbo. It ran great before this issue and I really did put alot of pressure on it and that turbo has been able to take a beating. Now there are driveability issues. It dosn't look like much but that is fresh oil and gas sludge coming out of a flange that has never leaked before.

i dont see how easy they could blow the turbo and caused those leaks, even if they did hit some boost with it.. looking at the lip though, i know they didnt handle the car right.. they could refuse service if they think the car is too low but they took the job caused damage so they should be responsible for it
