K1 seem to work very well and you do NOT have to notch the block to fit K1's, while the Carillo's will require notching the block.

I use Manley but those are big boy rods. The Carillo and K1 are the lesser expensive H beam rods. They are fine for lower HP levels. If you're going 600 WHP+ then go for the Manley units.

By the way custom Wiseco pistons and Manley rods are about $1350. So a bit more than the two above options. Hate JE pistons. Aweful finish on them. Have to do a lot of work on them before installing.

I have had excellent luck with the Wisecos on numerous cars over the years.

I second that. Wiseco is the ONLY piston manufacturer that has never given me one problem ever. JE quality is aweful and I even had them package things wrong TWICE. Once they gave me 4 left pistons in stead of 2 left and 2 right, and another time they gave me the wrong second rings! I will NEVER buy JE again.

Carillo makes H-beams as well. So they too step up to the big boy plate Your choice of rod bolt...
