Default kaminari reverse cowl hood + t'netics turbo = ?

I have a turbo kit that has the t'netics manifold and downpipe... so would the kaminari reverse cowl hood clear it ok or will it not have any room? that hood is basically the only one that i actually think looks good so it'll be a sad day if i can't get it.

I've seen an 06 with both a Turbonetics kit and a Kami hood. It fit with no issue, the T'netics kit has a very different manifold setup than the Dezod kit.

Our local 08 test car has our kit and the same hood, just needed to notch the hood near the compressor housing to get it to clear but otherwise fit.

do you have it with a tnetics kit though? and don, how much modification went into the hood for it to fit?

well the hood fitment by itself isnt all that great. You need to place washers on the striker because the striker is too short to grasp the latch. If you are modifying it more for the mere purpose of clearance from the manifold then I say its not worth the headache but its on you.

Yes it fits. My brother has the turbonetics kit with this hood and it clears just fine. Only issue you may run into is what wastegate you run. My bro has the tnetics evolution WG and its all good.
