LET THE BUILD BEGIN!!!
The oem headgasket design is great and if you go with 89mm pistons no problem I'm using it with my weisco pistons.
I recommend oem headgasget and arp headstuda and your set just make sure who ever decks your block or head is reputable Amd there are no high spots or you will blow out any head gasket

yeah. the shop that is gonna do the machine work specializes in race builds. they do alot of high hp hondas, and they also do machine work for my shop if we need any done. one of the techs that i work with has them do his machine work and hes been runnin 6 psi with no fuel management for years now.
got the new mani & dp done. i also did away with the superman theme, which i did not intend to do. i got more comin, but the holidays have put some purchases on hold for the time being.
so, i came across a slight hiccup. i was takin the keepers out of the head last nite and removing the valves, when i came to realize that the head is from a cali spec camry. so now my intake mani wont work with this head. so now its time to hunt for a federal emissions head. time to dig thru the scrap pile.
cali emissions. the positioning on the head is different. the intake manifold on the cali spec camry has a 2 part intake mani. it has a flange with some sort of valve on it and its tapered and if im not mistaken, the mounting bolts may be different as well.
yeah its a real pita...its a stupid setup imho but im sure theres some kinda logical reasoning for it...as for the clips, its no biggie...i appreciate ya lookin tho. i guess i gotta dig up the connector schematic and pray for the best. lol.. its not the easiest thing to look at and get the right connectors.
Well here comes a small update. I just started a new job and now more parts will be on the way as of tomorrow. Paul, ill be givin u call around lunch time manana!!!
