Default Looking for Supercharger 2005 tC

Looking for a Supercharger for my 2005 tC that I have put a wide body kit on, all carbon fiber. TRD looks great, anyone have one that's not trashed? PM me.

Good luck, you may have better luck finding one that just needs new bearings and a shaft then one in full working condition

You should try posting in the wanted adds. Also, if your gonna poor money into a 4 cylinder car with forced induction, do it right. Go turbo. Yes you can get away with supercharging, but i can guarantee that it will cost the same or if not more by going with a supercharger in the long tun. For the money you spend, and the small power you gain, its just not worth it to me. you can pick up a used kit easily for under 2k. and you can replace the turbo with whatever size you wish for your driving demands

^ What he said. Read around the forums a little. Almost everyone who buys/rebuilds and installs a supercharger regrets it due to it failing. A used turbo kit will get you MUCH more gains, and be more reliable.

Here is just one of MANY examples.. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=223685

I'd say I've put more money than I expected into mine but I had to rebuild mine even though the guy I got it from said all the bearings were good. I have not been upset with the power gain though, even though its not a large gain its still nice

I hate my turbo! All it does is drink gas and spin tires But for real though go turbo and you wont look back.

I got my kit on here for 2. Put another one or two into all the stuff to make it a complete kit with supporting mods for the power. I drive it every day and it keeps on keepin on. I had a few mechanical issues but it was user error Once that was sorted out its been peachy keen ever since. Id say about 4~5k miles on it with nothing more than oil changes. 220 horse on a 7lb wastegate with the initially slipping stock clutch. Going to re dyno at 10lb with the new clutch when I decide what tires I want
