ok just an update i went and looked at the kit in person and the turbo itself was suposly jsut rebuilt on 2/11/09 and there didint feel like there was really that much shaft play on both sides...but there was oil in the pipeing and he told me he installed his kit and didint put the aem fi/c and drove it and it started smokeing...and i seen on his garage were his exhaust shot out oil.. so now im at a debate either buy it all for 1,100 or buy everything besides the turbo for 900....and buy a new turbo......helpful input would be very nice

well better safe than sorry, get another turbo id say. Turbonetics got a decent turbo if its the water cooled one but you can find a larger turbo for a decent price. oh and uego is the aem wideband

if im not mistaken just about any t3/t4 hybrid with a 4 bolt pattern on the turbine should work....id have to look at TheFantasticG's car to say for sure...he's got a turbonetics kit and i think the down pipe is a 4 bolt flange.

i see what your saying but i would think that a 90 degree coupling would fix that issue.
