well here is a noob question will i need to put my stock hood back on when i put the turbo kit on bcuz ive got a oem c/f hood bcuz i know the manifold get hella hot...

took the header & intake off my car today only got drift spec for my exhaust lol is sooo much quieter lol

no, just put the gold foil above where the turbo and manifold are on the underside of the hood

 

he got the simple kit which should not require any further isulation...however since he is using a carbon fiber hood that has no insulation at all under neith i would suggest something to block it...if possible replace the stock insulation under the hood...if you can do that nothing further should need to be done as far as insulation goes.
