im not trying to destroy it.. im just asking what would happen.. only reason im contemplating this is because the muffler scrapes on every speed bump i go on... i put h-techs on and took my s techs off to help but i still scrape some and the back gap is killing me i miss the s-techs for the back atleast...

I think that if he wanted a straight pipe, that he shouldn't have even bought the P-tuning exhaust in the first place. Removing the muffler is the worst idea (and yes as I stated before, with P-tuning the muffler is further back on the pipe)

 

its not to loud lol i had a buddy with a straight 3 inch and just a glass pack it didnt sound loud at all but sounded just like ptunnings so thats what i did 3 inch turbo back with one 20 inch glass pack

well im sure if Ptuning designed a $1000 exhaust and did extensive teesting on it before they released it they wouldve figure out it would scrape and would have fixed the problem.

I would double check how it is set up, then if the shop did it wrong, I would be going after them to replace your scratch up muffler they install wrong
