word of advice on the QTP cutout. take the screw out of the plate and put some threadlocker on the screws. overtime they will vibrate out

Whoa. Whoever did the porting I would not be happy with. Very shaky hands. Otherwise looks good! I'm sure you'll be happy with it when you're done.

For you more knowledgeable guys... How do you feel about the pulley kits? I've read good and bad things about them on the tC. Things like it can mess stuff up (can't remember what though). Any advise on them?

The things that people say the pulley kit can mess is the oil pump (on the 2AZ-FE is right behind the crankshaft pulley) and is only the crankshaft pulley, not all of them.

I will install the pulley kit but I sent the new NST crankshaft pulley along with the crankshaft, flywheel and pressure plate to be balanced at the machine shop.

Some people say there are problems associated with the non-dampened pulleys and with the removal of the balance shafts. We have both mods on this engine. so only time will tell!!

Very nice stuff I have been running a QTP 3" for about 1/2 year with no issues, it ROCKS! And of course the NST pulley set is pure sex!
