Spool time no issue
1. Stroked engine
2. twin scroll manifold
3. .78 a/r divided turbine housing (compared to my old .82 which spooled rather quick)
4. 3" exhaust
5. oversized valves
6. Stage II BC FI cam.
7. ball bearing
So no issue.

ah, ball bearing and the cams will help alot....
im thinking i hit full 18 lbs on my old fashioned 60-1 at like 4-4.3.. i feel like its kinda slow, i need a gt30 for that dual ball bearing for sure.. but w.e brake boost ftw anyway

Where can I find the specs for the 60-1 I looked on Garretts site and Dezods and can't find it? I don't just mean the A/R's of the impeller and turbine housing, include the inducer, exducer, and trims for the impeller and turbine.

Ok I tried to look it up, it was on the compressor maps where I saw the 60-1.. seems like there are several 60-1s

I contacted BC because I understand having a longer stroke will increase piston speed so higher RPM's aren't exactly what I want in the first place. I would be happy with oem redline.
BC emailed me back stating the kit is good for 8,000rpms plus. Would I do that? No too high rpm.
It will depend on the machine shop, tuner, and shop working on the car where the redline will be. I am thinking maybe 7k max. Again it all depends on what the shop says.
BC balances it within 2 grams and the shop is taking it to .5 or even closer. Its a Toyota not a Honda so higher RPM's I don't care about.
Power dropping off at higher RPM's, I am sure it will but not like people are thinking with the GT35R it should still be making insane power up top.
I hope I cleared up any misconceptions.
ya i was just wondering cuz i wasnt knowledgable on the topic. Ya 7-7.3k redline feels great, its what im at and i would tell u to do the same, gears are nice at that range, stock is a little to short. cant wait to see this thing got an ETA for us?

I've got good news! I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!
Seriously the shop got the sleeves, cams, valves, springs and retainers so they should start the machine work soon. I should have some more parts pictures soon.
