Car has 400 miles on it with the new engine/transmission/suspension/axles/clutch and few other goodies. Once we reach 1500, headbolts will be re-torqued and then turbo installed and retuned.
Is it really necessary to re-torque the head bolts after 1500 mi? I have about 4500mi on my build and haven't seen any issues so I was just curious. FWIW I'm using the 07+ ARP/PTuning Head studs

Most people will say its not necessary and it may or may not be, it really depends on various things. Almost all gaskets made now do not require retorque but I would rather not take a chance with my build plus the shop is going to stand behind it since they did all of the work.

This will turn in a huge debate and I really don’t care, if you want to debate this then open a thread specifically for it. Here it goes; I of all people have run multiple systems on the car AEM EMS, Haltech, and previously Emanage Ultimate. There are too many random issues with standalones for the tC’s right now, if you are in a local are that is close enough to drive to Dezod or Ptuning then I say go for it as the products that were release by them as they know them best. Like I said I am not wanting to debate on this thread open a thread for that if you want to. All I do know is I will not buy another stand alone for the tC until you can physically go to AEM or Haltech’s websites and order direct from them. This way you know that you have full support all the way around.

Shop says I am running 8.5:1 CR. They are having issues with my 700cc injectors they have crapped out. The shop is getting some custom made from his injector shop. 161 Whp / 160 Wtq Mustang Dyno! Shop is expecting to get the injectors back next week. Engine/transmission has 2K miles on it.
