^ I agree not to ____ on ur parade but arent there ppl on here with built motors and stuff making 190-200WHP. I think I read on another thread that tcpete is one of them. If all is correct then WOW!! great #s

heres the thread with the built motor discussions.

Yep, either the dyno was off.. or the information inputed in the system messed up the overall results.

since when does weight affect dyno numbers??? The only thing that affects #'s is the drivetrain and tires. I agree on the n/a #'s, tcpete has a built motor and high compression pistons and puts a little over 190whp untuned, no way you're getting that with just bolt-ons and no tune. If I were you i'll take it to another dyno and verify those numbers, because seriously, I dont think you can pull 289 on a mustang dyno, nice setup regardless.

Have you been able to hit the track yet with your 75 shot. Curious to see what she will run.

Buuuuttt...If I had to pick and choose what to believe, I'm going to have to side with others in saying those numbers are slightly inflated. By all means don't think anyone is hatting on your ride, it IS a very nice setup. But I'm going to have to say that if you took it to a different dyno, you are not going to achieve these same results. Even if you went to another Mustang dyno.

This is why I DON'T dyno my car and post results. Dyno's are nothing more than tuning instruments. Some use it for bragging rights, but I would rather have bragging rights when it comes to racing.

I'd bet he's getting 190-200hp to the crank on motor....or at least close to it. If the scangaugeII w/ x-gauge can be considered accurate, I have shown 195hp at the top of 3rd gear with similar mods (a little more than him). When I get it dyno'd I will compare. the new software for the x-gauge seems to be reliable and accurate from people that are talking on other non-scion forums.

I've run 14.1 on 50 shot dry spray in the 1/4. It seems like boosted guys hate to see a spray car do that well... but I welcome anyone to come to the track with me and see for yourself.

Either way, I respect the performance upgrades people do to their cars. I'm no longer interested in the show scene stuff.... so I really respect cars that I see that don't spend $15k on making their car look fast but have a stock setup under the hood.... but that is just my taste.

I can respect Nitro guys the same as a turbo guy. But I think in this case no one is hating on his nitrous setup. His numbers just seem to be inflated that's all.

if he is wet... I can see those number being really close to accurate. If I had to say that he was inflated.... It can't be more than 13hp off.

I think the weather during the dyno time was under 40F.... I know it was inside.... but no filter + cold air could have helped a lot.

Default dyno

the kit is a single fogger wet kit just to clarify and yah at the time of the dyno it was about 50 degrees. the room where the dyno is had no heat and we did have the big garage door open but even so if u look at the weather correction factor #s which are right under the actual # i still made in the 180s to the wheels and in 190s in torque as far as on motor.
