So, I am wondering which SC we are talking about. TRD? I was considering coppin it. What do you all think?

Is it worth it. I mean, lets also consider now that gas mileage will decrease and I'll need to buy premium fuel from now on(these all add'l costs to the actual mod). At what point do you say, f-it and buy a new car?

this isnt the thread for this topic. There are 101 threads on that because we have all talked about it before we got ours. Just so you have a few answers fast: 1. the gas will go down a few mpg 2. yes you need premium 3. it feels nicer having more power and its a nice mod if you want to stay under warranty w/o adding other parts. Anyway - do a search and you will get a lot of details.

back to the topic....

Just a quick update - I gave up on waiting for the Group buy. I worked it out with the Dezod folks to get me the Emanage Ult and PNP Harness by friday so we can get cracking early saturday.

We're still on, and both Rippmods and I are very excited about seeing what this camwork will do....

Now - is there anyone from the NJ or Staten Island area around to lend me a camcorder? I'll have my digicam, but I'd really like to get some videos too....

wideband o2 & boost gauges (for obvious reasons) and we're testing out a new cam @ rippmods tailored for use with the F-trim.

Since my last dyno (220 whp with water/meth) I've done headers + full exhaust as well which should put me around 230 before we start @9.5lb boost on the TRD map. After the camwork + e-manage, things should get interesting.

Looking good. All my stuff from Dezod is here and sitting in the back of my car.

New Supercharger bracket is picked up and ready to go...

Meeting up with Nick (krdshrk1) to pick up my Wideband o2 he got for me since I ran out of money - he floated the purchase for me until payday (today) What a guy!

All that's left is to drop it off tonight, do a quick dyno pull for my baseline, then rip stuff apart tomorrow!

The car is at Ripp as we speak, resting quietly until tomorrow until we can do the e-man ultimate, wideband o2 and boost gauges, and then finally the camgears.

Here's the baseline from tonight....

This is with the SC, 9.5lb NST pulley, Alphawerks header, Draxas full exhaust, pretty much what you'd expect, 226whp over my previous stock exhaust pull at 214. Legend is RED for new BLUE for old.

With the addition of headers + full exhaust, the lack of backpressure results in lower torque values as you might imagine because of the TRD map:
