I've been running unflashed since day one and I get 28mpg on the highway. I don't do to much city driving.
Are you running the stock or upgraded injectors? How does it run at idle and near redline?
I'm running 550cc injectors. Not the ones that come with the kit. I also have a few other things in my car that didn't come with the kit.The car idles fine and hauls a$$ all the way to redline.
You're running 550's on the stock ecu with no fuel management? Or did I miss an amanage/afc/camcon or something in there?

The car is perfect. I had it installed at a local shop here that tunes imports and race bread porsche. They installed it, put it on the dyno and gave me two maps to choose from. They gave me a nice safe street map, and a more agressive race map. I can switch between the two maps anythine I want. The car feels great.

This is why I love the unichip for a production kit. It provides a nice safe, gas mileage tune, and a more aggressive, track tune. I change things so much that I need something I can tune on my own. However, the ability to swith back and forth between maps is one of the features that I love with any system. The emanage ultimate allows this with the dip switches on the front of the box.

just curious, but does the unichip allow the electronic speed limiter to be turned off?

Yes it does, but then you have to deal with another problem, the gearing

This is a problem I have worried about. I want to get the limiter removed so it can get its top end. but gearing wont take it much further. It doesnt matter for now. But If I move back to germany then it will be needed on a daily basis. What speed does the gearing run out?

I miss full open throttle for as long as you want and the trip taking half the time. And it being legal and safe Brings back some good memories.
