i want to buy new spark plugs and get a Ignition Control but dont know what brand to go for. from other peoples experince what do u guys favor.

 

many people have directly said to not change the plugs because there is no reason to. I have heard that many times thoughout the years. Im sure someone will comment on such.

 

yeah no reason to change them.

 

Leave it OEM. No point to getting a new ignition system. Your Coil packs are already the most efficient.

 

wow not what i expected so what can i do to beef up my engine without upgrading the internals, i already got pulley swap and throttle body spacer and the trd hi-flow intake

 

I/H/E/P is standard fare... you already have I and P so headers and exhaust would be next for you.

research the headers as some are known not to clear the S/C.

exhaust is personal preference afaik

i thought that it was recommended to change the plugs to the Denso Iridium IK24 Plugs (one step colder then the TRD supplied ones)

 

I would like someone else to comment cause I dont have the 100% correct answer on the plugs - I do remember there someone saying 1 step also ...but i do remember some saying keep the stockers

 

yeah i already have h/e. is there any chips out there and what about e-manage to change the map how well does that work.

 

^ the emanage will be nice to better tune your pulley. The TRD tune is a good generic tune but a decent tuner can make better use of the emanage. My tuner likes the emanage ult better but you need to find a tuner in your area that tunes tC's - then use whatever they like to use best. Thats the best info I can give - use whatever the tuner likes and has tuned with on tC's ....not evos ....not str4's ....TC's

 

thatbnks man i will use that info when i look for a tuner. i think the nearest tuner is like 300 miles from where i live. and thanks to everyone else that helped
