anywyas, cal file = calibration file = the actual tune
what you bassically did was when you opened up the tune, and clicked the connection button it asked if you wanted to load it TO fic and you said yes. BUT it had to change the format because the subsequent versions were all different formats so it made a new one. try clicking on the f/o/m/i/a/b that means
fuel/o2/maf/ignition/a/b

but how do i get the Map Phil sent me loaded onto the FIC itself?
how would i go about doing that.....i could open the map thru the software...and see all the numbers n stuff, but how do i get it on the FIC itself?
did i have to do anything with the basecal file?
please help me im down to the wire here, install is tomorrow

yup
now say if your tuner does a map and you want to share it with us, you open up a brand new map with all 0000000000000000 and click connect and click FROM fic then it will bring the map over to your computer

you know if it's loaded when you're connected and the maps all show different numbers, like if i connected to phil's map and clicked the F button it would show something different to my other maps

and btw i thought it was odd, but the program was telling me the FIC was connecting to the car when i went to flash the firmware....i hadda get a needle, and hit the lil button to put it into flash mode for it to work
